BIRMINGHAM, Ala. --- The Lady Hawks improved by 12-strokes from their day one total, but Huntingdon College's women's golf team finished 10th in the Ann Rhoads Invitational hosted by Birmingham-Southern College at the Robert Trent Jones Trail at Oxmoor Valley on Monday.

The Lady Hawks shot a 369 in the final round of the tournament, improving from the day one 381. Huntingdon finished 10th with a two-day total 750. The Lady Hawks were one of only three Division III teams competing in the 10-team field.

The University of West Florida finished first after carding a two-day total 648, while Butler University finished 3-strokes behind West Florida with a 651. The University of Indianapolis claimed the third spot with a two-round total of 664 followed by the University of Montevallo's 669. Lee University rounded out the top-5 with a two-day total of 681.

Montevallo's Emily Gibson won the individual title after shooting a 6-over par, 78, in the final round. Gibson finished with a two-day total of 151.

Huntingdon's Saem Hur finished tied 26th with a two-day total of 173, while Ali Hamil led the Lady Hawks on the second day by carding a 86.

Alex Foster shot a 101 in the final round finishing with a two-round total of 196. Meg McGuire and Kaitlin Rozof each improved from their round one scores by carding a 96 and 97, respectively. McGuire finished the tournament with a two-day total of 199 followed by Rozof's 202.

The Lady Hawks return to action on Monday, Mar. 7, competing in the Berry Spring Invitational hosted by Berry College at the Coosa Country Club in Rome, Ga.
