Lady Eagles Cruise 4-0 over Southern Wesleyan

The Lady Eagles cruised to a 4-0 victory over Southern Wesleyan in the day one Invitational night cap at Wynn Field.

Emily Jimmerson spearheaded Faulkner's defensive efforts with a brilliant performance in the circle. The senior tallied 10 strikeouts and allowed only two hits in the shutout.

Junior Haley Munroe and sophomore Rachael Boop both went 2-for-3 on the night and senior Scottie Wilkes and freshman Tori Hollis each secured an RBI.

Faulkner (1-1) will host Talladega in a doubleheader at 2 p.m. on Tuesday at Wynn Field.
