Lady Senators Tennis Completes Play At Georgia Invitational

ATHENS, Ga.—The Auburn University at Montgomery women’s tennis team defeated Kansas State University 2-1 in doubles matches and 4-2 over Troy University in singles matches to complete the final day of play at the Georgia Invitational.

The singles winners against Troy were Delia Sescioreanu, Gabriela Bergnanova, Julia Verdy and Whitney Byrd. In doubles action Bergnanova and Dominika Zuzulove won as did Sescioreanu and Josefine Strom.

The Lady Senators will open the regular season on Feb. 13 when they host NCAA Division II member Clayton State University at 1 p.m.
