By Adam Bagni

MONTGOMERY—Tori Collins hit a three-point shot with three-tenths of a second left on the clock to give Brenau a come-from-behind win over Auburn University at Montgomery.

The Lady Senators led 32-19 at halftime, but could not hold on to the lead as Brenau’s three-point shooting and AUM’s turnovers led the comeback win for the visitors.

Brenau shot 53 percent from the field in the second half while knocking down eight of their 16 three point attempts.

The Lady Senators had 14 second-half turnovers and Brenau was able to score 21 points in the game off AUM turnovers.

AUM had the ball with 13 seconds left and the game tied at 65, but Adrienne Marsh took a shot with eight seconds left which Brenau was able to rebound and get down the floor for the final shot.

Cassie Moore did all she could do with 28 points and 14 rebounds. Haley McIntyre had 12 points.

Ashley Hagans led Brenau with 21 points and Paige Cooper had 13 points and 10 rebounds in the win.
