Longoria Bobblehead Giveaway Saturday

Alfa Insurance and the Biscuits to honor the former Biscuits star

By WNCF Staff

MONTGOMERY, AL – When the Biscuits finally return home from a ten-game road trip this Saturday, April 24th, Riverwalk Stadium will host Evan Longoria Bobble head Giveaway Night presented by Alfa Insurance.
The Biscuits take on the Mississippi Braves at 7:05, and the first 3,000 fans through the gates will receive Riverwalk Stadium’s first ever bobble head giveaway. Gates will open at 5:50.
"We know fans will be excited about Alfa Insurance's Evan Longoria Bobblehead," said Biscuits General Manager and President Greg Rauch. "Just for coming out to the ballpark, you'll get to take home a one-of-a-kind collectible."
The bobble head, presented by Alfa Insurance, honors the Biscuits 2007 Southern League MVP and American League All-Star Evan Longoria. The Rays’ third baseman was honored as the American League Rookie of the Year in 2008, won a Silver Slugger award last season, and has twice been named an All-Star. He also graces the cover of the MLB 2K10 video game, and has gained popularity through a slew of other endorsements.
Longoria played for the Biscuits in 2006 and 2007 – a part of two Southern League Championship seasons – and his name is written throughout the Biscuits record books.
Tickets are still available for Saturday’s game. Visit the Biscuits Tallapoosa Street box office or biscuitsbaseball.com to get yours.
