Two people are in jail on capital murder charges after a Macon County man is found dead.

Macon County Sheriff David Warren says Daryl Rowell of Shorter and Salathia Wilson of Montgomery were pulled over for a traffic stop Tuesday night on I-85 near Perry Hill Road.

An officer spotted blood inside the car and the pair were taken in for questioning.

Investigators say they discovered the car belonged to 60-year-old Morris Dixon of Shorter.

Authorities later found Dixon dead in his mobile home.
