Crimson Tide go back to back to back in NFL Draft first round

By Alabama News Network

The Alabama Crimson Tide made headlines in Thursday night's NFL Draft as Dee Milliner, Chance Warmack, and D.J. Fluker were picked back to back to back in the first round.

Cornerback Dee Milliner went first at number 9 overall to the New York Jets. Milliner was the first defensive back to be drafted. He'll be expected to step into the role vacated by Darrelle Revis, who the Jets traded to the Tampa Bay Bucs for the number 13 pick and another pick.

The Tennessee Titans drafted former Alabama guard Chance Warmack next with the number 10 overall pick. Warmack will join a rebuilt offensive line and will be a key piece to open up holes for star running back Chris Johnson.

With the number 11 overall pick, the San Diego Chargers selected former Tide tackle DJ Fluker. Fluker will immediately bolster the Chargers' offensive line and he'll be expected to help protect quarterback Philip Rivers.
