CBS 8 Sports Analyst John Longshore was on CBS 8 News at 6:00 to talk about whether Auburn can salvage the season and if Alabama will be beat by anyone.
Longshore believes embattled Auburn head coach Gene Chizik will remain on the job until the end of the season. He thinks Auburn needs to look for a big-name coach to come in afterward. In addition, Longshore says with the struggles Auburn has faced in football, basketball and baseball, it could be time to replace Athletic Director Jay Jacobs.
As for Alabama, he believes the Crimson Tide will have no trouble beating Mississippi State on Saturday, even though both teams have identical undefeated records.
