Murder Victim's Family Searches for Answers, Speaks Only to CBS 8
A tearful plea tonight from the family of Walter Frazier, a man killed by gunfire in a Montgomery neighborhood Wednesday night. They want the gunman behind bars and are telling only CBS 8 what they believe led to murder on Upchurch Circle.
"He just had a birthday," said Tamika Johnson, with tears in her eyes. She is the sister of Walter Frazier.
Stokes is just one of Frazier's four sons who is now without a father. The youngest, they say, is a seven year old, who was there Wednesday night.
That visit was cut short when the family says an argument between Frazier and the boyfriend of his son's mother turned deadly.
Montgomery Police say they have a suspect they believe to be the shooter, but for now are not naming that person.
This was Montgomery's 18th homicide of the year.
