Montgomery City Leaders Say Booting Cars is Raising Ticket Revenue
Montgomery officials say there are more people paying their parking fines in downtown Montgomery, but fewer drivers actually getting them.
That's eight months after the city announced a new policy, immobilizing cars with a boot if drivers failed to pay five parking tickets.
City officials say parking fine revenue has more than doubled, to more than $2,700 on a booting day.
