It's been a year and a half since the deadly April 27th tornado outbreak and Alabama is still waiting on more than $70 million in payments for the damage.
Art Faulkner, director of the Alabama Emergency Agency says the state already received more than $110 million from FEMA, but he's expecting more funds.
Faulkner says the payment process can take a while on larger projects, like replacing schools destroyed by the tornadoes.
While different areas are expecting different amounts of money, they are still waiting for the funds.
