From the CBS 8 West Alabama Newsroom-- Folks from all over the country are filing into Uniontown for the 124th annual Footwash outdoor festival.
Vendors are setting up shop, people are strolling around and the smell of food and the sound of music is in the air.
The Footwash is a four day non-stop party that draws thousands of people to the area each year.
Vendor Latonia Gordon is from Grand Rapids, Michigan.
"I sell purses at home so I brought some of my purses and thought maybe I could sell them here and have some fun too," said Gordon.
The event started in 1888.
