Judge Wants King's Task Force Stance

BIRMINGHAM (WNCF) – A Birmingham Circuit Court Judge wants Attorney General Troy King to give him his position on the governor’s illegal gambling task force by Monday.

Judge Robert Vance Jr. issued a new order Tuesday clarifying a previous deadline order from March 8th. Vance has said that King should be in control of the task force, which is currently spearheaded by the governor and commander John Tyson.

The attorney general and the governor met last week to discuss the gambling issue, which they have publicly disagreed on.
