Thompson Wants Unis at All Schools

MONTGOMERY (WNCF) – Every child in Montgomery will have to wear a school uniform if Superintendent Barbara Thompson gets her way.

Thompson is pushing the uniforms to be required for every school. She says that research shows that uniforms decrease discipline problems by erasing economic disparities, lower clothes costs for parents, and help school staff identify students.

None of the district’s high schools currently have policies, but the vast majority of elementary and middle schools do.
