Texting & Driving Ban Moving Forward

MONTGOMERY (WNCF) – A ban on text messaging in Alabama is becoming closer to reality.

The Senate Judiciary Committee voted Wednesday to approve the ban that the house passed back in January.

The law would not allow a police to pull over a driver for texting alone.
If passed, Alabama would be the 20th state to ban the practice.
