NASA sets shuttle Discovery launch for Aug 25



NASA authorities on Wednesday set an August 25 date for the shuttle Discovery's launch on a mission to the International Space Station, the agency said in a Twitter message.

Launch was set for 0536 GMT from the Kennedy Space Center near Cape Canaveral in Florida, NASA said.

The decision came on the second day of a meeting of mission officials.
