Two Men Accused in a Home Invasion Are Sentenced
Two men accused in a home invasion that injured the in-laws of former State Representative Jay Love have been sentenced.
Wilanu Collins has been sentenced to 200 years in prison.
Collins was convicted of burglary, robbery and attempted murder last November.
Love says his in-laws and their housekeeper were at their home on Monticello Drive when they were robbed at gunpoint and attacked. The 2012 incident left his 73-year-old mother with broken bones and bruises.
The second man, Elton Walton, was convicted of burglary, robbery and assault. He's been sentenced to 50 years in prison.
