Sunday Shootings Claim Two Lives in Montgomery

Montgomery police are investigating two shootings that left two people dead within a three-hour period Sunday.

31-year-old Taurio Mushat was killed shortly before 2 yesterday in the 12 hundred block of Bragg Street. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say four others who were shot have non life-threatening injuries. Police have identified two people they are looking for in connection with the shooting.

The second shooting happened around 4:15 in the 4 thousand block of Colfax Drive.

Police say 35-year-old Kedrick Jones was taken to a hospital where he later died.
