State agents say they destroyed an eight-barrel moonshine still during a raid in the woods of Bullock County.

Al.com reports that agents with the Alabama Alcohol Beverage Control Board also seized nearly 24 gallons of finished white lightning at the site in the Still Crossroads community on Friday. Agents with the Moonshine Task Force also found bags of sugar and grain.

The 23.5 gallons of seized moonshine have an estimated illegal street value of $705. No arrests were announced.

The task force has destroyed about 16 moonshine stills in central Alabama since its formation in October.
