The Capital City Club had it's reopening gala last night, after undergoing one million dollars worth of renovations.

The renovation has been one year in the planning and workers spent the last four months doing it.
New flooring, new wall decor, and an upgraded ballroom and lobby were part of the construction.
A new bar called "The Junction" was also built and the kitchen hired a new chef.

"We have a brand new chef from Charlotte, North Carolina," says General Manager Patrick Shelton. "His name is Kent Graham. And he is absolutely wonderful. He's got some great ideas and a very progressive menu on the way for our guests."
