A Brundidge man is under arrest for allegedly robbing an 88-year-old at gunpoint. Troy police arrested Dujuan Larial Mency Friday on charges of first-degree robbery, according to Sgt. Benny Scarbrough with the Troy Police Department.
According to police, Mency visited the victim at his home on Highway 231 in Troy Tuesday to pay back some money he owed. Police say Mency then threatened the man with a gun and demanded his wallet, a jewelry box, and several pieces of jewelry.
Mency is being held on a $10,000 bond at the Pike County Jail.
