Wreck South of Opelika Kills Alexander City Boy

A wreck south of Opelika has killed a 13-year-old Alexander City boy and an Opelika man.

State troopers tell CBS 8 News that 13-year-old Jaquon Tremble was killed when the car he was riding in hit a tree.  The crash happened yesterday afternoon on Russell County Road 63, south of Opelika.

The driver, an 18-year-old man from Opelika was also killed.  A third person in the car was injured an taken to an area hospital for treatment.

State troopers are investigating.
