Wreck Kills Two People in Banks

A second person has died in a car wreck that also killed a Banks woman.

State troopers say 14-year-old Celeste Burgess of Winston Salem, North Carolina died Friday afternoon. Burgess was a passenger in the Nissan Altima that collided with a minivan 44-year-old Tammy Johnson was driving on Highway 93 in Banks. That wreck happened at about 10:00 Friday morning. Johnson also died of her injuries from the crash.

The wreck injured four other people, including the driver and a passenger from the Altima and two passengers from the minivan. There's no word on their conditions.

State troopers continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
