Wreck Closes I-65 in Montgomery at I-85 Interchange

Interstate 65 northbound is closed at the Interstate 85 interchange because of an overturned truck.

Montgomery police say an 18-wheeler carrying scrap metal overturned at the interchange. All lanes of traffic on 65 northbound at the interchange have been closed.

Traffic is being re-routed onto Interstate 85 northbound.

In addition, the Day Street ramp to Interstate 65 northbound is closed.

Police say to expect the interstate to be closed for several hours.
