What's Right: Children Raise Money for St. Jude Children's Hospital

By Glenn Halbrooks

Some of the youngest children in Montgomery are doing their part to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Tennessee.

Children in the Eastmont Baptist Kindergarten program held a parade outside their school as a fundraiser. They marched around with signs and some even wore costumes.

Some of the children are from the school's Mom's Day Out program and ride around in strollers. But even though they're small, they want to make a big difference in the lives of other children.

This parade is an annual event. Over the past seven years, it has raised more than $28,000 for the hospital. Last year, the school raised more than $2,800 and hopes to beat that amount this year.
