Walkers, Runners Lace Up Sneakers For Shamrock Shuffle 10K Run

The luck of the Irish spread across the capitol City as walkers and runners laced up their sneakers Saturday for the Shamrock Shuffle Run.

The race was held this morning at the Edward Thompson Ball Fields and featured a 10k race, 2k fun run, and a wheel chair division.

The Shamrock Shuffle is sponsored by the Junior League of Montgomery to help promote volunteering and taking action through leadership in our community.

All of the proceeds from today's race will continue to fund various community projects supported by the Junior League.
