Garage Sale Raises Funds For Troy's Miracle League Playground

Troy Parks and Recreation hosted a community-wide garage sale that took over Troy's recreation center Saturday morning.

All profits from the garage sale will go to benefit the Miracle League Playground.

This new playground is specifically designed to accommodate children with physical and mental disabilities.

Unfortunatley, the city is about $30,000 shy of the $220,000 cost to build the playground.

Organizers say they are still tallying how much money was raised, but every donation gets them a little closer to making the playground a reality.
