By Alabama News Network

More trouble reported in the Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System.

Federal officials say a doctor who wrote inaccurate patient records kept doing so after being caught and now faces little disciplinary action.

Investigators say the doctor copied and pasted old patient dadta onto new records for the same patients.

The doctor was then put on a 90-day evaluation period kept copying and pasting the information and got a satisfactory review.

Federal officials say the revelation points to a lack of accountability at the veterans health center.
