Train Hits Car in Downtown Demopolis

A car is hit by a train in downtown Demopolis.

Demopolis Police Chief Tommie Reese says the accident happened at around nine o'clock this morning at the train tracks near Franklin and Strawberry Streets.

Reese says no one was injured in the crash -- but the cause of the accident remains under investigation.
