Tim Tebow Coming to Montgomery in March

Football star Tim Tebow is making a stop in the Capitol City.

He will be a part of a fundraiser for the Cancer Wellness Foundation of central Alabama.

The event is called ‘An Evening with Tim Tebow’ and is sponsored by Baptist Health.

It will be held at the Montgomery Convention Center.

Last year alone, the foundation provided more than $5 million in services to cancer patients in the area.

Officials say this fundraiser will help them serve patients in 2012.

"This is a wonderful thing, we were so lucky to be able to ask Tim Tebow to come to Montgomery. He’s such an outstanding young man, such a Christian man, and we appreciate him coming. So we can present him to Montgomery on such a great cause as the Cancer Wellness Center," said Sarah Spear, Cancer Wellness Foundation.

The event will be Friday, March 16th but tickets will go on sale this Friday.
