Car Break-in Suspect Seen in Walmart Using Stolen Credit Cards

By Ellis Eskew

It's a common habit that many people take for granted. Dr. Amy Anderson is a dentist at Montgomery Dentistry. She was at her child's field day to help out one morning.
She left her purse on the front seat of her car.

"I felt like I was at a safe place. Just didn't want to carry around my big purse on my kids field day. Guarantee I won't do that anymore," said Amy Anderson.

When Anderson returned to her car her purse was gone.

"I was kind of shocked and panicked at first. I didn't know what to do and also felt violated, too, that someone would go into my car and get my purse and take my things. I told some of the school staff and immediately canceled credit cards. And my banker could already tell where they had started using my cards," said Anderson.

Surveillance cameras caught the suspect using her cards at an area Walmart coming in with a red baseball cap and sunglasses.
Police say he also was driving a black sports car.
They now need your help in identifying this man.

Anderson says she hopes someone will come forward with information and the suspect will be caught. More importantly, she just hopes to get back the things she can't replace.

"You cancel cards and that's all done and taken care of. But it's the things like your family pictures, kids pictures that you may not have duplicates of that you want back. Your own personal items that you wish they would give back to you if there was anyway they could," said Anderson.
