On Wednesday, students showed off their smarts in Butler County's first ever scholar's bowl...

It's an academic competition for students in fifth through eighth grades. Georgiana, McKenzie and Greenville Middle schoolers buzzed in with the answers to questions on subjects like art, science, math and history.

Each school has two teams with six students. After playing five rounds each, Greenville Middle School Team A took first place, answering 61 of 100 questions correctly.
