Six-Year-Old Boy Dies in Covington Co. Crash

A six-year-old boy is dead after a crash in Covington County.

State Troopers say Carter Hanson was killed when the car he was riding in was struck from behind.

The accident happened at 5 Wednesday afternoon on Alabama Highway 55 at the 45 mile marker.

The driver of the car Tiffany hanson was taken to a hospital to be treated for her injuries.

Troopers are continuing to investigate the crash.
