Search Warrant Served at Southern Star Casino

Attorney General Luther Strange announced that a search warrant was served today at the Southern Star Casino in Lowndes County.

The warrant was issued in response to illegal gambling operations.

The Southern Star Casino opened earlier this year with electronic bingo machines that state law enforcement agents determined were illegal.

Over 350 machines and an undisclosed amount of money were seized from Southern Star.
