Santa visited the babies in the hospital's neonatal intensive care unit.
He delivered stockings to the babies and had professional pictures taken with each baby.
A Non-profit group called The Footprints Ministry organized the event.
It was begun in 2007 at Heritage Baptist Church in Montgomery and has worked with Baptist South ever since.
Kim Wilson founder of the Footprints Ministry says it's hard enough to have a sick baby during the holidays.
"They're not even able to take their babies home and will be spending the holidays up here by their baby's bed side. The most important thing is to share the love of Jesus Christ with the families and brighten their holiday," Wilson said.
