Political Analysis from Steve Flowers

By Alabama News Network

Political Analyst Steve Flowers was on Alabama News Network to discuss the winners and losers of the 2013 Legislative session.

He says Republicans will be pleased with the session, because party leaders who control state government were able to pass their agenda. Democrats in the Legislature didn't have much success.

Flowers say Gov. Robert Bentley may not have gotten his way in putting a two-year delay on the private school tax credits, but because the issue is polling poorly across the state, Flowers believes the governor has put himself in a winning position.
