Political Analysis from Steve Flowers

By CBS 8 News

CBS 8 Political Analyst Steve Flowers was on CBS 8 News at 6:00 to preview the elections that are now just one week away.

Flowers doesn't believe Hurricane Sandy will have much impact on the extremely tight presidential race. While President Barack Obama has turned his attention to helping storm victims and Republican nominee Mitt Romney has canceled some campaign events, Flowers doesn't believe next Tuesday's vote will see much of an impact.

In Alabama, Flowers thinks the Chief Justice race, between Republican Roy Moore and Democrat Bob Vance, may be closer than some had expected.
