Police Nab Three Suspects in Pine Hill Armed Robbery

By George McDonald

Three men are behind bars in Wilcox County after police say they robbed a truck stop in Pine Hill at gunpoint.

Kendrick Lamont Ransom of Thomasville-- Detarris Denish and Antonio Ausbon, both of Pine Hill--are all charged with armed robbery 1st degree.

Police say the men went into the Old School Truck Stop and took more than 500-dollars in cash at gunpoint.

They say the suspects were apprehended with the help of several law enforcement agencies and a K-9 unit.

"It was very good police work by the Pine Hill Police Department, the 4th Circuit Drug Task Force to track these guys down as quickly as they did," said Wilcox County District Attorney Michael Jackson.

The three suspects are being held in the Wilcox County Jail under no bond.
