Police Investigating Montgomery's 7th Homicide

The Montgomery Police Department is investigating the death of a female whose body was discovered at approximately 9:40 a.m. Monday, March 28, off Lemon Street.

Police are investigating the death as a homicide.

Police are seeking the identity of the victim, who is described as a white female, possibly in her 50s.

The Department of Forensic Sciences will conduct an autopsy.

Any individuals with information regarding this investigation are asked to call the Montgomery Police Department at 334-241-2651 or the Secret Witness Line at 334-262-4000.

This is Montgomery’s seventh homicide in 2011.
