Pike Road Unveils Veterans Memorial at Old Town Hall

By Heather VacLav

The town of Pike Road unveiled a new veterans memorial at the Old Town Hall.

Members of the military, town leaders, and their families joined veterans from the area to talk about the importance of the men and women who have fought for our nation.

The event also featured patriotic music and special guest speakers, including State Senator Dick Brewbaker and the town mayor.

If you didn't get a chance to see the memorial unveiling, it will be on display at the Old Pike Road Town hall site near the corner of Pike and Meriwether Roads.
