Pike County Resident Returns To Burglars In Home

By Sarah Cantey

A Goshen man is behind bars and one suspect is at large after allegedly breaking into a rural Pike County home.

19-year-old Antonio Gregory Price Junior is facing burglary charges after deputies say he tried stealing two guns, a Play Station, four computers, cell phones and watches. Authorities say he and another suspect fled the Henderson home Monday afternoon after the owner arrived and felt uneasy and calling 911, after seeing broken glass and a backpack outside.
Pike County Sheriff Russell Thomas said, "That's why we try to emphasize to our citizens to trust your instincts. That if you arrive home and you feel uneasy, pick up the phone and call and let us come to your residence."
Deputies said they caught Price after a lengthy search of the area. They are not releasing the name of the other suspect, but do say he is 34 years old.
