Pedestrian Recovering After Being Hit By Vehicle

A pedestrian is recovering after being hit by a vehicle at the exit ramp of i-85 North and Mulberry Street.

Montgomery Police and Fire Medics responded to the traffic crash at about 8:00 a.m.

Police say, it appears that a pedestrian and and parked vehicle were struck.

The pedestrian was transported to Jackson Hospital's ER with what was initially life-threatening injuries.

The pedestrian's injuries have been downgraded to non-life threatening injuries.

The exit ramp at Mulberry Street was closed following the accident but is now reopened to traffic.
