Peanut Boil Festival Gets Ready to Start

It's almost Labor Day and for people in South Alabama it means it's time for some boiled peanuts... 25 tons worth of peanuts

Vendors are already preparing for the 42nd Annual World's Largest Peanut Boil. The festival kicks off tomorrow morning. Organizers say it's an event for all ages. It includes music, activities for the kids, a car show, and of course... LOTS of boiled peanuts.

You'll find the festival at the intersection of  Highways 10 and 331 in Crenshaw County.
