Parents of Missing Wilcox Co. Man Speak Out

By George McDonald

The parents and family members of a missing Pine Hill man are praying for his safe return and pleading for someone to come forward with information concerning his whereabouts.

Twenty-nine year old Steven Davis has been missing now for ten days and so far the investigation into his disappearance has turned up nothing. Davis was last seen February 10th at the Old School Truck Stop in Pine Hill.

His parents and family members continue to pray for his safe return. Gregory Davis is the missing man's father. "We haven't seen him, heard from him, he hasn't called his momma and that's something he doesn't do, he calls her everyday no matter what," he said.

Jean Davis is the missing man's mother. "It's the worst thing that you could ever go through when somebody is just snatched from you and it's just, it's not fair," she said.

Wilcox Co. Sheriff Earnest Evans says investigators are pursuing every lead. Anyone with information -- call the Tipline at 682-4251.
