One Person Dies In Bama Cheerleaders' Bus Collision

A young woman hurt in the Tuesday night crash involving a charter bus carrying home University of Alabama cheerleaders from the BCS championship game, died Saturday afternoon.


20-year old Natalie Baine of Georgia suffered fatal injuries from a three vehicle collision on Western Boulevard at I-65 in Montgomery.


Police say the accident involved the cheerleaders' bus, which was carrying 31 people; a car; and a pickup truck. Baine was a passenger inside the truck.


The accident is still under investigation, but no other information is available.


This is the first traffic fatality in Montgomery for 2013.
