A new Alabama bill could make it easier for rescue workers to vote in case they're called away from home during an emergency.

Alabama Governor Robert Bentley will sign the bill Monday morning, which establishes guidelines for first responders to vote using absentee ballots, if they're away from home because of an emergency.

Bill sponsors and rescue workers and emergency responders will be on hand for the signing.

The ceremony starts at 10:00 A.M. in the Circle of Flags at the State Capitol.
