Motorcyclist Killed after Hitting Deer in Chilton Co.

(Montgomery) -- Alabama State Troopers say a 53 year old Verbena man was killed when his motorcycle struck a deer early today.

     The accident happened nine miles south of Clanton on Chilton County Road 49 about 2:30 this morning.

     The victim is identified as 53 year old Richard Alan Coburn.

     The Troopers say Coburn was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
