Mother Behind Bars for Killing her 4-year-old

A Montgomery mom is behind bars and is charged with the strangling death of her son.

4-year-old Keante Tauton was pronounced dead upon arrival to Baptist South Hospital on October 20th.

The child's mother, 23-year-old Brittany Ellis was charged with child abuse at the time.

Ellis is now being held on capital murder charges at the Montgomery County Detention Facility.

This is the City of Montgomery’s 25th Homicide for 2010.
