Montgomery officials set economic announcement

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - City and county officials are scheduled to announce that an international company will open a facility in Montgomery.


A news conference is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. a.m. Wednesday at the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce office to make the economic development announcement.


Montgomery Mayor Todd Strange, Montgomery County commission chairman Elton Dean, company representatives and Montgomery area Chamber of Commerce officials are expected to be on hand for the announcement.


The economic development announcement will be made in the chamber's Blount Boardroom at 41 Commerce Street in Montgomery.
