Montgomery Police are investigating the city's 32nd homicide of the year, which surpasses last year's total.

Police say they responded to a wreck at the intersection of South Perry Street and Mt. Vernon Drive Thursday.

If you have any information, call Montgomery police at 625-2831.

Officers say 35-year-old Jerome Dunklin died at a hospital.

But police say Dunklin had been shot, which was the cause of his death, not the car crash.
